Amin Sarang

Dr. Amin Sarang is a visionary leader, entrepreneur, and engineer whose journey spans continents, disciplines, and industries. With over two decades of experience driving innovation in civil engineering, real estate development, and value optimization, Dr. Sarang brings a rare blend of technical mastery and business insight to his role as CEO of DEVNEX Solutions Inc.
A PhD in Civil Engineering from Sharif University of Technology and a candidate as Executive MBA from the Rotman School of Management at University of Toronto provide the academic backbone for his multidisciplinary approach.
From leading $1.2B mega-projects across the Middle East and North America to pioneering tech-driven real estate startups in Canada, Dr. Sarang has consistently turned complex challenges into high-performing, scalable solutions.
Prior to founding DEVNEX, Dr. Sarang held senior leadership roles (Senior Executive Director) at LSG Partners, Smart Phase One. His reputation as a trusted advisor and development manager is built on decades of proven success in navigating regulatory environments, leading multi-disciplinary teams, and ensuring project goals are delivered with clarity and precision.
A lifelong educator and advocate for continuous improvement, Dr. Sarang has also trained more than 1,500 professionals in value engineering and real estate development, helping public and private sector clients realize significant savings and performance gains across major infrastructure and urban planning projects.

Arash is an entrepreneur and innovator who feels fortunate to have enjoyed a remarkable career with significant achievements in the architectural, engineering, construction (AEC) and academic sectors. A high-performance executive with interpersonal savvy, Arash is recognized for his ability to bring stakeholders together on collaborative initiatives, and as a digital technology visionary.
Arash holds a PhD in construction engineering and management technologies and co-founded the Building Innovation Research Centre at the University of Toronto.
In 2020, he was named one of the Top 40 Under 40 in Canadian Construction for his innovative work. Arash’s experience, educational background and passion for the AEC sector propelled him to co-create AECO Innovation Lab.
This lab is poised to revolutionize the adoption of digital technology in AEC and related industries and governments. AECO provides research, software, and business development services to transform insights into real-world solutions.
